Salsa at the New Foresters
Come and Join in with these new Salsa classes for beginners, Wednesday nights at The New Foresters
Starting on the 8th April 7-00pm for complete beginners and 8-15pm for level 1
I have recently moved to Nottingham after nine years of living in London, where the King's Cross Steelers RFC was the first English rugby football club offering gays and lesbians the chance to play competitive union code rugby. Since their inception in 1996, a number of other similar clubs have been founded in other UK cities,
including Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol and Cardiff.
As far as I can tell, there is no such similar club in Nottingham, or in the East Midlands, that I know of.
I would therefore be interested in finding out the following:
1. Are there any gay rugby clubs in the East Midlands that I don't know about? If so, who would I contact?
2. If not, does anyone know of anyone else who is considering starting such a club?
I have sent a similar email to a number of other gay organisations in Nottingham and across the East Midlands in the hope of making some contacts and hopefully getting involved with anything that's already going on, or getting something started.
